We value your donation and we want to ensure it is protected in order to build the legacy you are creating. All our funds are held in perpetuity through our agreement with the Kitchener Waterloo Community Foundation. They now have over $70 million invested and while we are a small part of that it allows us to make use of their investment experts to ensure that the investments made create a balance of security and growth.

Donate to the General Fund

Each year the Fund Board solicits funding proposals from the community and makes grants based on need and our assessment of where we can make a significant difference whether in community services, sport , arts or facilities.  As an endowment fund we distribute only the income from our funds and this ensures support is there forever to meet changing needs in our community.
Some donors have a particular passion and want to fill a need in a more focused way and Woolwich Fund can make that happen.

Donate to the Fountain of Memories

Created in 2002 to honour and celebrate the lives of young people in our community who have died too young, this fund is dedicated to supporting initiatives which help our young people achieve their goals and dreams so they can take their place as leaders in our community.

We are happy to meet with you or your financial advisor to structure donations in a way that maximizes your goals.
1 – Donate shares you may hold.
The tax relief from capital gains allows you to greatly increase the impact of your donation
2 – Make the Fund part of your will or estate plan
3 – Give a gift of life insurance
A tax receipt is issued for the premium paid by the donor when the fund is named of a new or existing policy
4 – Give a gift to perpetuate the memory of a friend or relative
5 – Create a corporate giving program
6 – A business may wish to honour a retiree, board member or employee for their contribution
7 – Establish a named scholarship to commemorate a person or event
